Research Clusters

PRISMA comprises four research clusters dedicated to mapping out and building on existing research and successful practices currently thriving at our institution. Each research cluster focuses on addressing one of the four student-centered pillars that shape our pedagogical model.

These clusters also focus on researching cutting-edge experiments and results internationally to further build an evidence-based, collaborative and student-participating practice. By integrating these insights, our goal is to deliver enhanced pedagogical strategies and a cohesive educational model that opens up new areas and possibilities for interdisciplinary student-centered media art.

The research clusters are self-organized, operating on a ‘formative feedback loop’ principle by using PRISMA meetings to present status updates, engage in discussions, and exchange feedback with the entire group. Collaboratively, we research and develop outputs based on the project's four foundational pillars, directly contributing to the MAIL and IMPACT framework. This approach allows us to implement, test, evaluate, and continue to iterate to further advance our model and approach.
