This is pedagogical pioneering work in film and media studies, which, despite new technologies and changing distribution conditions, is often taught quite conservatively. Our intention here is to develop a pedagogical model increasingly more student-driven. This cluster focuses on researching and testing innovation methods characterized by an exploratory, autonomous and curious approach within an inclusive and open-minded learning environment.

Key references include Lotte Darso's 'Innovation Pedagogy', which has provided a foundation for our Media Art Innovation Lab framework, as well as the innovation work developed at other programs and labs with whom we have exchanged knowledge, such as 'Teklab' and 'Experts in Teamwork'.

The research cluster is currently creating a repository of definitions, which will be launched as part of our online portal.
